Documentary (style) - Film style used in fictional films which replicates the ambience of a stereotypical documentary film, and consists principally of periods of voice-over narration delivered in a terse, reportorial style; crisp editing; and relatively stationary and straightforward photography. Most commonly seen in films of the early to mid-1950s based on the success of the style in the television program, Dragnet.
Documentary Center - The Documentary Center is an expansion of a decade-long commitment at The George Washington University in Washington, DC to teaching documentary film production theory and techniques and to creating documentary films for national audiences.
